Finger joints are utilized in the construction of this belt in order to prevent unwanted scratches and to provide bi-directional capabilities to the floor sander belt. These belts are commonly used in the flooring industries for sanding and refinishing all wood floors as well as on concrete floors using the coarse grits for mastic and adhesive removal.
